Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Jon Voight Nội dung: Bộ phim mở đầu với giọng nói của Optimus Prime mô tả hành tinh Cybertron, quê hương của các robot, nơi đã xảy ra một cuộc nội chiến giữa 2 nhóm robot là Autobot và Decepticon khiến cho cả hành tinh bị tàn phá. Mục đích của cả 2 phe robot hiện giờ là phải tìm được khối lập phương All Spark, vốn có sức mạnh có thể tạo ra cả một thế giới. Phe Autobot thiện thì muốn hồi sinh hành tinh Cybertron, còn phe Decepticon ác thì muốn dùng nó để gây chiến khắp thiên hà. Cả 2 nhóm sau nhiều năm tìm kiếm đã biết được rằng All Spark đã lạc đến Trái Đất. Megatron đã phát hiện ra All Spark nhưng lại bị tai nạn và đóng băng ở Bắc Cực rồi bị quân đội Mỹ giam trong trạng thái đông lạnh tại khu vực bí mật gọi là khu vực 7. Trước khi ngừng hoạt động, hắn đã đánh tín hiệu báo cho các robot Decepticon dưới quyền hắn......
